Also knows as Ngor Her (Hokkien) or Kurau (Malay). It is an alternative for threadfin lover at a more affordable price. The meat of the fish head is more tender than the meat from the body portion. It is also suitable for making broth for mothers who are nursing or undergoing confinement.
