Flower Grouper (花石斑鱼) also known as Areolate Grouper is renowned for its tender and mildly sweet flesh. It is also a more affordable option compared to its other siblings. It is great for steaming and tastes amazing when pan-fried!

The Flower Grouper also known as Areolate Grouper is a more affordable option amongst the grouper family and it is easily identified by its brownish skin and distinctive yellow spots.
Fun Fact: Groupers are mostly bi-sexual, they have the ability to change sex as they mature!
Cooking Methods: Recommended to steam it with some ginger slices, garnishes and a dash of light soy sauce!
