The wild-caught fish is one of the local favorite which can be commonly found in most of the wet markets. It is prized for its high levels of moisture for the flesh.


The meat can be simply cook with sweet and sour sauce or use for porridge/soup for the flesh. The fish head can be used for curry fish head, fish head soup and even claypot style.  For claypot/ curry fish head, it is recommended to cut the fish head into small pieces. 



* Our fillets/fish slices contains minimal to no bones as we have carefully remove the bones we can see and feel by hand. However, there may still be some pin bones hidden in the flesh which we may not be able to spot. Please exercise extra cautious when feeling young kid and elderly. 


* The weight range is before any descaling, de-gutting and cleaning of fish.


* The fish head will be cut into half and the bones will be pack separately. Do let us know in the request field when carting out if you would like to cut the fish head into small pieces.

The black grouper has a mild but very unique taste. It has a firmer texture and a high level of moisture than any other fish. The flesh is usually thicker as compared to fillets from snappers.
